Who's Behind The Curtain

Regen Horchow Fearon
Founder / Chief Executive Officer
Regen Horchow Fearon is a Dallas native, a graduate of The Hockaday School, Yale University and holds a M.Ed from the University of North Texas. Her first career was in early childhood education.
For the past 25 years, Regen has held paid and appointed leadership positions in a long list of Dallas and Texas civic, education and social service organizations. Working from home, Regen founded the Institute for Interesting People. She juggles the management of her family, home, business, volunteer and civic work and values her reputation as a good family member and friend, social organizer and attentive-but-not-helicopter parent. During her years of juggling, out of self-defense, she founded PlumLife, LP in 2009, a communication engine that puts every calendar in one place and feeds information out only to those who need to know.
Regen lives in Dallas with her husband and their two daughters. Her oldest daughter is embarking on her college career and will be texting often.
This week, Regen only missed one appointment. She forgot to set a reminder in PlumLife.

Chris Bradshaw

Chris Bradshaw lives in Dallas, TX with her husband of 18 years and their one-year-old black German Shepherd.
While preventing startups from falling off a cliff, Chris enjoys jumping off one. You can catch her hang gliding over the Pacific. We love that she saves her thrill seeking ways for play.

Leslie Carr
Marketing
Running her own photography studio during both the pre- and post-digital age prepared Leslie for all the challenges of a new business in the midst of change. Designing and executing websites, marketing campaigns and special events for clients as diverse as The Byron Nelson Golf Tournament, D Magazine, The Container Store and TXU’s Glen Rose Power Plant provided her marketing insight into broad view of the business world.
After taking those business and marketing skills (online marketing campaigns, her laser-like focus on profitability and growth) to the retail and fashion industries, she’s found a home at PlumLife. She spends her days getting the word out to everyone that needs the solution that brought peace, calm and coordination to her hectic life.
Leslie lives in Dallas with her two teenage sons, a beagle mix and with PlumLife, her schedule is less hectic giving her plenty of time to schedule those much loved tennis matches!

Susan DeKruger
Customer Relations
The road from Rochester’s Beta Sigma Phi Woman of the Year to PlumLife’s Customer Relations Manager makes more sense than it might seem. Susan has brought her compassion, her penchant for process and her sense of urgency and accountability to PlumLife. The ability to champion our customer’s needs was honed from the management positions she has held in companies such as Weblink Wireless and ESI, as well as her volunteer leadership positions like Banquet/Hotel Chair for the National Bowling Tournament and Outstanding Area Governor for Toastmasters International.
Susan lives in Garland, Texas with her boyfriend of 9 years, her loyal cat and a continuously improving garden.
Our customers’ happiness isn’t the only thing that Susan’s passionate about. Watch your back, Cake Boss…Susan DeKruger culinary prowess keeps us all happy. We may have to ask her to back off--Team PlumLife is dangerously close to dialing 1-800-JENNY.

Eugene Lazutkin
Senior Python Developer
Not everyone is willing to leave their PhD unfinished in Siberia in order to come to our 100+ degree weather in Texas. When he’s not traveling to or virtually attending and speaking at Dojo conferences or managing Eugene Latkin Consulting, he works on PlumLife.
We could tell you about his stellar education in Russia and all the fabulous things he does professionally, but as Eugene says, “Who cares?” We tend to agree and are fortunate he built part of the PlumLife infrastructure years before PlumLife came to be.
Eugene lives in Plano, Texas with his wife and a tween-aged daughter. — We’re willing to bet he’ll be using the “notify by text” tool within PlumLife to keep up with his tween.

Mandie Nitchke
Quality Assurance
We love the phrase “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it…but if it is, call Mandie.” At PlumLife, we appreciate Mandie and her laser-beam focus. Mandie plays a critical role in product functionality, product acceptance and user interface and testing. She dove in headfirst during the launch of PlumLife and continues to play an integral role in the product’s success.
Mandie lives in Wylie, Texas with her two cats and her three boys, Ben (the dad), Sam (the toddler) and brand new Jack.
Being one of nine siblings, means Mandie handles chaotic family schedules with ease. Just in case she needs a little back up, she’s using her PlumLife color-coded system to ensure some sense of calm in her life well before the boys activities overwhelm her.

Benjamin Nitschke
Product Development Manager
