Continuous Import or Export

Continuous Import and Export enable you to tell PlumLife to communicate with an external calendar.

Continuous vs Single Import or Export

You can import and export data in several ways.

  1. A single import or export essentailly takes a picture of the data as it exists today.  If you change the date after the export, it is not updated in the exported file.
  2. A continuous import allows you to see events on your PlumLife screen which were entered onto another calendar.  For example, you can set up a continous import from your OUtlook calendar at work so your PlumLife calendar called Work will display your work schedule for view in the context of your family.
  3. A continuous export allows you to send events entered on your PlumLife calendar to an external calendar.  For example, I keep a calendar in PlumLife for my spouse's non-work events.  Using iCal, he has subscribed to the specific calendar in PlumLife where I keep his schedule.  So, whenever I add something, it can display on the calendar he keeps at work.
