Sending Notifications via Text
PlumLife is currently designed to communicate primarily by email because most email clients allow the recipient to merely click Accept or Decline to let you know that they are confirming.
You can send an email as a text directly to a phone number. The entire body of the email is sent as a text.
We are working to improve the communication via text!
How to email a text
In notification fields where you are prompted to put an email address, you can enter in the email address that the mobile carrier offers for texting. Attached is an image with the formats for most carriers. Typically, it is something like 2148903491@txt.att.net
If someone to whom you send notifications always wants a text, then enter that "email address" as their primary email address and this information will auto-complete the next time you enter this person's name.
