Adding US Holidays to PlumLife
You can add a US Holidays and many other calendars found on the web to PlumLife easily. To save you a step, we've chosen one US Holiday calendar URL for you.
Continuous Import from Entourage to PlumLife
Entourage does not allow a direct export to PlumLife, so you have to use iCal as an intermediate step.
If you are using a MAC iCal is available to you - even if you don't use it.
Create a Continuous Import from Google Calendar to PL
You are able to set up PlumLife to automatically receive and display new events which have been entered on a Google calendar.
This method allows future changes from Google to update your calendar in PlumLife automatically. However, if you add an event from PlumLife, that event will not automatically display on Google.
SUGGESTION: It is recommended you import your contacts first to avoid duplicate contacts.

Create a Continuous Import from iCal to PL
You are able to set up PlumLife to automatically receive and display new events which have been entered on a calendar within iCal.
If you use iCal at work but want to see your work schedule as a part of PlumLife, use this option to set up a constant feed from iCal onto a calendar within PlumLife. Or, while you are getting used to PlumLife, continue to use iCal as your master calendar.
NOTE: Entering an event within iCal will not give you the extra detail fields that are available within PlumLife to track Sitter, Drivers and to let others know whether they need to attend this appointment or just need an FYI. So, using PlumLife as your master scheduling system has lots of benefits over other calendars.

If you use Outlook at work but want to see your work schedule as a part of PlumLife, use this option to set up a constant feed from Outlook onto a calendar within PlumLife. Or, while you are getting used to PlumLife, continue to use Outlook as your master calendar.

Create Event - Can't see all fields
Because PlumLife has the ability to add lots of details to a calendar event, if all of the (+) are clicked open, the template is very long and can look like it drops off of the page.
Importing a Holiday (or other) Calendar
You can find already created calendars for religious and other holidays, sports events, etc. One place to look is www.icalshare.com (not related to Mac iCal so works both for PC and Mac users)
For the US and major Judeo/Christian/Muslim holidays, use this URL https://my.plumlife.com/calendar/ics/full/26791/GOakc-nmRLLgDTBK4-neQyZ9wWM7Jgfj/us-holidays
Create a new calendar within PlumLife, select SHARE tab and then SEE and GOOGLE. Paste this URL (or one from another site) in the field and you will be able to view the holidays as all day events within PlumLife .

Importing Calendars from Yahoo
First, in Yahoo, you will Export a copy of your calendar to your desktop.
Then, in PlumLife, you will Import it in.
One Time Import of Entourage Calendar
Because of the way that Entourage exports its data, it takes two (easy) steps to get the information from Entourage to PlumLife.
First, move the data from Entourage to iCal. Then, import from iCal into PlumLife.
One Time Import of Outlook 2007 calendar
If you used Microsoft Outlook 2007 before choosing PlumLife as your details management solution, copying your data over is easy.
You will make a copy of the data as it exists today in Outlook and then import that file into PlumLife.
After this import, if you make changes to your calendar from Outlook, those changes will not display in PlumLife. Likewise, if you make changes to your contacts from PlumLife, they will not display in Outlook. So, we hope you'll just use PlumLife as your primary scheduling system from now on.

One Time Import of your iCal calendar
If you used iCal before choosing PlumLife as your details management solution, converting your data over is easy.
You will want to import your data calendar by calendar from iCal to PlumLife so that you keep the data separated and color coded as you have it in iCal now.
You will make a copy of the data as it exists today in iCal and then import that file into PlumLife.
After this import, if you make changes to your contacts from iCal, those changes will not display in PlumLife. Likewise, if you make changes to your contacts from PlumLife, they will not display in iCal.
So, we hope you'll just use PlumLife as your primary contact management system from now on.

What is the easiest way to get my calendar data into PlumLife?
There are two ways to copy your data into PlumLife. Both leave the data where it currently resides but makes a copy for PlumLife.
Another option for getting started is to create calendars within PlumLife that will keep your existing program updated as well. This is called creating a continuous export.
